This type of rounded top finishing press has jaws that are 1-1/8"
thick by about 7-1/2" high. Screws are 1-1/8" diameter with a 4 threads per
inch. The presses can be made of Hard Maple or Quartered White Oak.
The Maple is harder and tougher but the Oak is less likely to warp
with seasonal changes. Screws for both are Hard Maple. Sizes
available: 12", 14" or 16" (between screws).
